Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be written in English.
  2. Accepted manuscripts are research results, review articles, case studies and scientific papers that have never been published in other print media.
  3. The manuscript is typed on A-4 size paper, Times New Roman 12 with 1 space spacing with portrait layout with left and top margin sizes of 4 cm; right and bottom 3 cm, including figures and tables.

TITLE                                                                     

MAXIMUM 15 WORDS                                                                 

ABSTRACT                                                                          

Contains the main issues, service objectives, service methods/approaches/strategies, and the results of community service.                                                                

Keywords: 3-6 words, separated by a semicolon (;) between words                                                                                                                                                           

INTRODUCTION                                                                               

Contains a description of the objective situation or condition analysis of the community service subject (assisted community), issues and focus of community service, reasons for choosing a community service subject, and social change or community service goals which are expected to be supported by qualitative and quantitative data, and supported by reviews relevant literature. Reference using Vancouver Style.                                                                                

METHOD                                                                             

Contains a description of the process of planning action with the community (community organizing). In this case it is explained who is the subject of community service, the place and location of community service, the involvement of the fostered subject in the planning and organizing process of the community, the research methods or strategies used in achieving the objectives and the expected stages of community service activities. The planning process and strategies/methods use flowcharts or diagrams.                                                                

RESULT AND DISCUSSION                                                                           

Contains a description of the results of the community service process, namely an explanation of the dynamics of the mentoring process (various activities carried out, forms of technical action or community problem solving program actions). In addition, it also explains the expected emergence of social change, for example the emergence of new institutions, changes in behavior, the emergence of local leaders, and the creation of new awareness of social transformation, and so on.                                                                          

CONCLUSION                                                                   

Contains descriptions of the results of the conclusions on community service in the form of theoretical reflections and recommendations.                                                                         

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS                                                                

Contains descriptions of gratitude or thanks to parties (individuals or institutions) who are directly or indirectly involved in the success of community service program activities.                                                                                                                                

REFERENCES                                                                      

The bibliography uses the Vancouver style and is numbered based on the order of references in the text. Besides that, the list of references/library is considered appropriate if writing based on the source referred to.
